The Sandstoners claim their first overall title since 2003 pulling away in the fourth quarter against the Red Raiders.
Massena led by eight in the first quarter before Potsdam made a 19-11 run to tie the game at 25-25 by the break. EVANS AND WHITE TOUGH AS NAILS PLAYER OF THE GAME Massena's Brady Condlin pushed across 15 points in the first half and Potsdam's Scott Bartenstien scored 12 after two quarters.
The thrid quarter went back and forth as Potsdam ended the quarter with a three point lead courtesy of SUBWAY SUB OF THE GAME Lee Buchanan who hit a lay up with seconds to play to give the Sandstoners a 39-36 lead. The Stoners proceeded to out score Massena 18-8 in the fourth quarter as PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME John Coleman tallied 13 second half points and was Potsdam's co-leader with 18 along with Bartenstien.
Condlin was the leading scorer on the floor with 28 points including three 3-pointers.
