POTSDAM MAN ARRESTED FOR DWAI-DRUGS AFTER MULTIPLE-INJURY COLLISION, ONE ACCIDENT VICTIM IN BURLINGTON IN 'STABLE' CONDITION --Sheriff's Deputies arrested 23-year-old Jordan Bonno of the Morley-Potsdam Road Sunday after a collision between the vehicle he was driving and another at US Route 11 and County Route 35. A passenger in the second vehicle, 57-year-old Kim Hayes was transferred from Canton-Potsdam Hospital to Fletcher-Allen Health Care in Vermont. She was listed in 'stable' condition this morning. Bonno, the driver of the Hayes vehicle 57-year-old Steven Hayes and a passenger in the Hayes vehicle 2-year-old Abagail Hayes were all treated and released from Canton-Potsdam. Deputies say more charges are pending. The crash occurred about 8pm Sunday.

NEW YORK CITY AREA MAN WANTED AFTER OGDENSBURG DRUG BUST ARRESTED, JAILED WITHOUT BAIL--35-year-old Nestor Velez allegedly went back to a residence on the 900-block of Ford Street Sunday to pick up a vehicle he thought was still there, but was actually seized by City Police after a February 17th bust that netted crack cocaine, powdered cocaine, and heroin all packaged for sale. Velez took off before police detectives could question him on the 17th. Velez was arraigned on a felony count of drug possession. He had listed addresses of Ogdensburg, Hyde Park, and Bronx. Police say Sunday's arrest was the fourth drug-related action against Velez in three days.

"MOMENTUM ST.LAWRENCE" RAISES ALL-TIME BEST CASH TOTAL IN SLU HISTORY--$171.2-million-dollars was raised in the 7-year drive that wrapped up at the end of 2010. 42 percent of the total, or about 71.5 million was raised by the efforts of University Trustees themselves. The campaign makes numerous scholarships, endowments, and facilities improvements possible. ALSO FROM SLU--Trustees voted over the weekend to set next year's Comprehensive Fee (tuition, room, and board) at $53,740--up 3.7 percent which is the lowest year-to-year percentage increase for some time.
