Chateaugay and Hermon-Dekalb Advance To Class D Final |

GIRLS CLASS D SEMI-FINALS
HERMON-DEKALB 36, LISBON 31
After yielding a 13 point halftime lead, the Green Demons hold off the Golden Knights to move on to the Class D Final.
Hermon-Dekalb started with a 9-0 lead and a 25-12 hafltime advantage as SUBWAY SUB OF THE GAME Brianna Sayer scored nine first half points. Demons out rebounded Lisbon 21-8 in the first half.
As the second half began so did the Golden Knight comeback coupled with a cold streak from the floor for Hermon-Dekalb. Lisbon out scored the Demons 8-0 in the third as Hermon-Dekalb went on such a funk they did not score a point in the second half until 1:15 into the fourth quarter.
Eventually Lisbon came back to tie the game at 28-28 before the top seed regained the lead with 2:07 to play. PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Kaylee O'Donnell tallied five in the fourth quarter and led the Demons with 11 points. Sayer netted nine points and 11 rebounds. Hermon-Dekalb ended the game on an 8-3 run.
For Lisbon, Jackie Moore scored 14 points, grabbed 13 boards and blocked five shots.

The Bulldogs knock off the second seed in the Class D Tournament.
Chateaugay ran out ot a 12-4 first half lead and led by six by halftime. Hammond struggled from the start scoring but managed to chip away in the eventually taking the early in the third quarter at 27-26 on Tricia Boland three point play.
From that point their were seven lead changes with last one coming at 1:43 to play on a PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Raquel Fowler lay up to push the Bulldog lead to 46-45. Chateaugay went on a 10-1 run to end the game. Fowler scored 13 fourth quarter points and netted 15 in the game including pulling down 10 boards.
Courtney Boyea hit five three pointers and scored 17 in the win and SUBWAY SUB OF THE GAME Aby Barnes netted 10 off the bench.
For Hammond, Alyssa Crosby scored 17 in the game.
