ALL WEST DAM HYDRO PARTS ARE EXPECTED TO ARRIVE WITHIN 30-60 DAYS, MAYOR SAYS--Potsdam Village Mayor Ron Tischler says Canadian Turbine CEO Richard Kuyper is far from 'off the hook,' as far as litigation and possible criminal charges are concerned in connection with the long-overdue power plant on the Racquette River. The Village made a deal last year to pay parts suppliers directly, instead of waiting for Canadian Turbine to be paid for other jobs. Village Administrator David Fenton told Trustees Tuesday the turbine shaft is still in the process of being balanced, and the plant will be assembled once the weather allows.
