CHATEAUGAY 53, MADRID-WADDINGTON 46 (OT/F)

The Bulldogs remain unbeaten with a stirring second half comeback on the road in Madrid.

Down by 19 in the third quarter, Chateaugay forced overtime with a 3-pointer by SUBWAY SUB OF THE GAME Erik Fleury with under 30 seconds to play. Fleury then gave the Bulldogs their first lead at 44-42 in overtime as Chateaugay out-scored the Jackets 13-6 in the extra period.

Madrid-Waddington pulled out to a 20-12 halftime lead on the strength of Alex Brock's 12 first half points with eight coming in the first quarter. Then the home team busted out to a 13-3 third quarter run as EVANS AN WHITE TOUGH AS NAILS PLAYER OF THE GAME Zack Marcellus hit two threes and scored 12 by the end of the quarter.

Chateaugay chipped the 19 point defecit to 12 by the end of the third quarter and held Madrid-Waddington to only one field goal in the fourth quarter. PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Michael Boyea started the flurry with six points in a 20 second stretch off turnovers.

The Bulldogs completed the comeback with a 17-5 run to end regulation. Boyea tallied 14 including 12 combined in the fourth and overtime. Fleury scored 12 in the effort and Ian Henderson contributed 10 including a big 3-pointer with 1:11 to go in OT that pushed the Bulldog lead to five.

For Madrid-Waddington, Marcellus scored 15, pulled down six boards, and accumulated five steals.
