The Blue Devils erase an 11 point hafltime deficit to take the game away from the Sandstoners.
Potsdam would end the first half on a 14-3 run and lead at the half by eleven only to see OFA take control of the game with a 21-8 third quarter. SUBWAY SUB OF THE GAME Lindsay Drummond scored eight third quarter points and PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME MacKenzie Cole hit two free throws with 6.8 second to play in the third to give the Blue Devils the lead for good at 34-32.
OFA extended the lead with timely shots and tough defesne in the fourth quarter as they outscored Potsdam 15-9 with the help of Cole's eigth points in the frame, tallying 15 in the contest. Drummond led all players with 16 points.
Potsdam got it within two at 41-39 with under three minutes to play but stalled in the end as EVANS AND WHITE TOUGH AS NAILS PLAYER OF THE GAME Rachael Johnson scored eight points and pulled down 13 rebounds and had four steals. Veronica Sapp scored 15 to lead Potsdam and Shanielle Chambers scored 10 and produced six steals.
