The Blue Devils rally in the fourth quarter to sweep the season series from the Golden Bears.
OFA jumped out 8-2 in the first before the Bears were able to take the lead at 12-9 and lead by one at halftime. Canton extended the lead to nine points at the end of three after a Emily Rexford 30 foot three pointer at the buzzer to give the Bears a 33-24 lead.
Canton held OFA to one field goal in the third but the offense came alive in the fourth as OFA overcame the deficit to take the lead on a PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Lindsay Drummonf three pointer with 3:45 to play. Canton would tie it up at 40-40 with Katie Murray three pointer, but OFA would score five straight from the foul line, all coming from SUBWAY SUB OF THE GAME McKenzie Cole.
Cole and Drummond each scored 10 fourth quarter points as Drummond pulled down 15 rebounds and scored 16 in the game. Cole led the Blue Devils with 17 points, scoring eight form the chairty stripe.
For the Golden Bears, Tressa Goolden produced a double double with 17 points and 12 rebounds.
