One of the top teams in the state cruised in their first real test of the season.

Potsdam ended the the first quarter on an 11-0 run and brezzed to a 26 point halftime lead with tough full court pressure forcing Massena into several turnovers. PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Scott Batenstein hit four first half three pointers scoring 18 points by the break as Potsdam broek a 10-8 first quarter lead wide open.

Massena did win the third quarter 15-12 but were unable to close the gap any further as the Sandstoners saw two other players with 20 or more points as EVANS AND WHITE TOUGH AS NAILS PLAYER OF THE GAME John Coleman scored 22 points and Zack Adams added 20 points. Will Coleman added four off the bench to earn SUBWAY SUB OF THE GAME honors.

For Massena, Brady Condlin scored 17 points and pulled down inine rebounds. Zack Hopps added 12 in the Red Raider effort.
