The Sandstoner boys remain undefeated with a non-league win at the CVAC/NAC Challenge.
Breaking away from a 15-10 lead, Potsdam ended the first half on a 16-3 run as EVANS AND WHITE TOUGH AS NAILS PLAYER OF THE GAME Zack Adams scored 12 first half points an pulled down over 10 rebounds in the contest.
Potsdam opened up the second half on a 8-0 run as PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Scott Bartenstien scored 14 second half in leading all scorers with 21 in the game. John Coleman added 16 for Potsdam and SUBWAY SUB OF THE GAME Mike Chambers contributed six.
Kyle Carter led Peru with 12 points.

The Blue Devils hold off the late charge by the Hornets in claim another NAC victory at SUNY Potsdam.
Up by 13 at halftime and 16 at one point in the second half, the Blue Devils saw their lead shrink as the hot shooting of Plattburgh got the game back to three points late. However PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Owen Luckie managed key free throws down the stretch, going 7 for 7 from the foul line in the second half in leading OFA with 26 points.
Cavin Larose managed 14 points, Jared Morrow 13, and David Crowder 12. SUBWAY SUB OF THE GAME Breton LaRose scofred five in the victory.
For the Hornets, Tre Bucci scored 17 points including knocking home three 3-pointers. Ethan Votrow and Jordan Knight each contributed 16 for Plattsburgh who fell for the first time on the season.
