A huge start to the second half helps the Green Demons improve to 2-0 over the Bulldogs.
Twelve first quarter points by PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Brianna Sayer helped the visiting Hermon-Dekalb to an 11 point first quarter lead as the Green Demons led 25-15 at the half.
However the Demons exploded for 17 straight points to start the third as Rochelle Whitton tallied nine third quarter points in all scoring 17 in the game, Sayer finished with 18 points six boards and five steals.
Heuvelton held Hermon-Dekalb to one field goal in the fourth as the defense improved in the second half. SUBWAY SUB OF THE GAME Maddie St. Pierre scored 10 off the bench and pulled down eight rebounds. Kristi Pike hit two three pointers for the Bulldogs.
