99 NEWS HEADLINES FOR 12/2/10 BRASHER STABBING SUSPECT CAUGHT IN FRANKLIN COUNTY--Malone-based State Police confirmed for 99 News this morning Doland Sylvia was taken into custody about 4:50 this morning. A 911 call came in eaelier that hour about what was reported to be a person falling on a glass bottle at a residence off Route 11C in the Town of Brasher. Investigation revealed the incident in question was, in fact a stabbing. Sylvia was picked up at the scene by a vehicle with Massachusetts plates that may have been driven by his mother; that vehicle was stopped on Gallup Road in North Bangor. Sylvia was expected to be brought to the State Police station in Massena for questioning and processing; further details are pending the outcome of the investigation.
