The Sandstoners pull out their second win of the year in the third period after giving a two goal lead.
Potsdam's Megan Stevenson scored on a break away six minutes inti the third 28 seconds after St. Lawrence Central tied the game. Lext hunt scored ona wrap around 10:30 into the first and PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Abbie Adams scored on a breakway as the second period expired on a power play to give the stoners a two goal cushiuon.
The Larries responded early in the third as SUBWAY SUB OF THE GAME Jordyn Clothier scored even strength 46 seconds into the period and then on a power play at 5:31 to tie the game at two. That was before Stevenson forced a turnover at the blueline and scored on a shot from the slot.
SLC pressured the Potsdam net late but Abby Tardelli stopped 13 third period shots. most late in the game in picking up the win. Stephanie Peets stopped 16 for the Larries.
