STORM SYSTEM BRINGS MOST RAINFALL SINCE KATRINA--Certified military storm spotter Rick O'Hanlon recorded 3.43 inches of rain from the system that started last evening and continued a heavy deluge until the early morning hours today. The all-time record for Potsdam is 3.89 inches, recorded when the leftovers of Hurricane Katrina hit the North Country in August of 2005. A Parishville-area resident with weather instruments recorded 4.4 inches from the storm, and 5.2 inches since Tuesday. A flood warning is in effect in St.Lawrence County until 11:45am, a flood watch through tonight.
