POTSDAM DISSOLUTION STUDY COMMITTEE PLANS TO KEEP PROCESS CALM--The committee's paid consultant said last night the controversy surrounding dissolution studies, as evidenced by similar studies across the state, peaks as the document is completed and the government entity considers it--in this case the idea of the Village of Potsdam merging into the Town of Potsdam. The Committee suggested the creation of survey documents and other ways of gauging public sentiment before issues become too hot to handle. One idea suggested is to have documents available at both Village and Town offices for people who can not, will not, or do not access them on the internet. The consultant, CGR is handling the web presence for the committee, the new address is http://www.cgr.org/potsdam
