Lady Stoners Two Second Half Goals Lifts them to Victory Over Golden Bears

POTSDAM 2, CANTON 0

Canton held off Potsdam all they could for 54 minutes until two goals six minutes apart hepls Potsdam remain unbeaten in Central Division play.

As the Golden Bears seemed to gain momentum, the Lady Stoners struck for the game winning goal as SUBWAY SUB OF THE GAME Monique Cornett sent a right wing cross in front of the net where Lia Davis bodied the ball into the net for the game winning goal.  Six minutes later Cassie Grace went in on a beakaway, her first shot was saved ny Kara Losey but were second shot found Grace again as she buried it in the back of the net.

Monique cornett who started in goal for Potsdam and Beth Waters who came on in the second half combined for three saves.  With strong play up front Keeley Rice was awarded our PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME.  Losey stopped 11 for Canton while Mickey Lennox was awarded our EVANS AND WHITE TOUGH AS NAILS PLAYER OF THE GAME.
