FLINT NAMED SUNRISE CONFERENCE RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Freshman Jon Flint of the SUNY Canton men's cross country team has been named the Sunrise Conference Male Runner of the Week.

Flint, a standout runner from Queensbury High School, had an impressive debut for the Roos as he finished in second place out of 91 runners at the SUNYIT Wildcat Invitational on Saturday in Utica.


NORWOOD NATIVE SHARLOW TO PLAY PRO BASKETBALL IN ENGLAND
Former St. Lawrence University basketball standout Josh Sharlow has signed a contract to play professional basketball overseas with the London Leopards of the England Basketball League (EBL.  Sharlow had a stellar four-year career at SLU, making an immediate impact as a first-year point guard and earning Liberty League Rookie of the Year honors in 2007.  He led the Saints to four straight Liberty League Tournament appearances and three straight regular season titles.  Under his leadership, the Saints held an overall conference record of 46-11 (.804) and made three NCAA tournament appearance including a Sweet 16 appearance in 2009.  The Norwood, NY native earned second team All-Conference honors in 2008 and first team All-Conference honors in 2009 while also being named to the NABC All East Region Team (2nd Team).
