Victor Coker Jr. Liberty League Rookie of the Week Coker had a solid debut for the Saints along the offensive line. The Syracuse, NY native helped the Saints post 156 yards of total offense against Ithaca.
Alex Laird Liberty League Co-Defensive Performer of the Week Laird was outstanding defensively and contributed a game winning goal as St. Lawrence won the Lotto Tournament for the fourth straight time. Laird scored the game winner off a corner kick in a 2-0 victory over Roberts Wesleyan and helped the Saints hold Houghton to six total shots and just one on goal in a 1-0 win for the tourney title.
Abby van Geldern Liberty League Defensive Performer of the Week van Geldern posted a pair of shutouts to lead St. Lawrence to its third straight Lotto Tournament championship. She had four saves in a 2-0 win over Lasell on Friday and nine, eight of them in the second half, in a 1-0 win over Geneseo for the tournament title.
Sara Artus Liberty League Co-Performer of the Week Artus was named to the All-Tournament team at the Hartwick Invitational, recording 54 kills with a .322 hitting percentage overall. She also added an ace and a block, as well as 17 digs. She hit .480 (12-0-25) in a straight set win over CCNY. Abby Rose Liberty League Co-Performer of the Week Rose accumulated 22 kills (1.47/game), 114 assists (7.60/game), and 41 digs (2.73/game) in four games at the Cortland Classic. She was also a member of the All-Tournament Team.
Lani Durio Liberty League Co-Rookie of the Week Durio made her collegiate debut this past weekend, recording 109 assists over the course of four matches (7.79/gm). She also added in 22 digs, 10 kills, and 4 aces.
Alex Benway Liberty League Co-Performer of the Week Benway placed third overall at the Plattsburgh Invitational, finishing the 5K event in 15:48.0.
Dan Fritz Liberty League Co-Rookie of the Week Fritz placed 10th overall at the Plattsburgh Invitational, finishing the 5K event in 16:31.0
Julia Croyle Liberty League Co-Defensive Performer of the Week Croyle had an assist in the Saints' 5-1 win over Utica on Sunday. The Wenham, MA native was also outstanding on the defensive end throughout the weekend as she made two defensive saves.
