Potsdam Prevails In Penalty Kicks To Advance To Jeffers Tournament Final

PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Sebastian Grimberg stopped the potential tying penalty kick in the last round to lift the Stoners to the John Jeffers title game.

After scoreless regulation and overtime Potsdma jumped out 2-0 in the penalty kicks with tallies from Peter McAdoo and Shawn Lillie. SUBWAY SUB OF THE GAME Sam Skufca drove home the decider as Dan Vallance cut the penalty kick lead to 3-2 heading into the fourth round.

All shooters were shut out the rest of the way as EVANS AND WHITE TOUGH AS NAILS PLAYER OF THE GAME Jimmy Robinson tested early came up with 12 saves in the tie and Grimberg five. Potsdam faces madrid-Waddington in the final on Saturday morning

Two breakaway goals by PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Cassie Grace help Potsdam to another John Jeffers Tournament title game. Grace scored four minutes apart in the 15th and 19th minute in a four goal first half for Potsdam.

Monique Cornett scored what proved to be the game winner in the fourth minute from Keeley Rice. SUBWAY SUB OF THE GAME Lia Davis and Tess Hazen added insurance markers as the Larries Jan Judware eraned EVANS AND WHITE TOUGH AS NAILS PLAYER OF THE GAME honors.

Kayla Irwin stopped eight in goal for St. Lawrence Central. Potsdam will face Norwood-Norfolk in finals Saturday morning at 9am.
