SLU WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY SECOND IN COUNTRY TO START YEAR
The St. Lawrence University women's cross country team is considered amongst the favorites to compete for the 2010 national championship according to the pre-season poll announced on Wednesday from the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The Scarlet and Brown, who had a runner-up finish in the 2009 NCAA Championships, start the 2010 campaign ranked second in the country, the program's highest national ranking in school history.

SAINTS MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY START THE YEAR 12TH NATIONALLY
The St. Lawrence University men's cross country team enters the 2010 season ranked No. 12 in the country, according the first United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) poll announced on Wednesday. The Scarlet and Brown are tied with 188 points with Williams College out of the NESCAC.
