Dick Wilson won everything except the 50\50 on Friday’s Ben Cordwell Memorial Senior Golf action from St. Lawrence State park.  Wilson shot a 37 and won the longest drive and closest to the pin competitions.  Dick Moore, Ken Kendall, and Ned Hackett shared overall low honors by shooting a 32.

The teams of Louie Kiah Sr, Mike Martin, and Louie Kiah Jr. are close to forming a 3-way tie atop the standings of the Myers Pub Monday Night Golf league.  Kiah the Elder’s team has a score of 38.5 while Kiah the Younger’s team comes in with a score of 36 and sandwiched in between is Martin’s team with a 36.5

For the fifth time this year Ogdensburg Pepsi Cole Bottlers and Jones Tire of Heuvelton will meet in Kiwanis Grasshopper baseball league play.  The two teams will play tonight for the Grasshopper League Playoff Championship.  They previously met in the regular season championship game when both teams finished the season with identical 10-2 records.  The game was made possible by Ogdensburg downing Lisbon Friday night in a semi-final contest.
