Baseball and Soccer action for 6-29 |

On the diamond in Kiwanis Senior Grasshopper League action Lisbon lost to Howland Pump. Howland was led on the mound by Noah Moore, Conor Badlam, and Avery Love who combined for 10 K’s in the game. Offensively they were led by Al Fisher who had a 4 hit game including 2 home-runs a triple, and a double. On the other side Jacob Pellerin, Donnie Seguin, and Joey Pellerin had a total of 16 strike-outs for Lisbon. At the dish Lisbon was lead by Jordan Carr who had a double and a single and Jacob Pellerin added a triple. In Soccer action The Ogdensburg Federal Credit Union 14U team losing a very tight game 3-2 in their PYSL opener to the Bears. Ogdensburg took the early lead on an un-assisted goal by Peytone Lalone. Zach Ashley scored to break a 1-1 tie and gave Ogdensburg the lead at half 2-1. The Bears stormed back in the second half by scoring two goals putting them ahead 3-2. The Bears had a scare with 30 seconds remaining when SLFCU scored tying the game, but the goal was called back. In U17 action Massena defeated Salmon River 4-1. Emily Underwood scored two goals and assisted on another. Kally Behrens and Dominique Valancius scored the other goals for Massena. Danielle Hutchins scored the lone goal for Salmon River on an set-up from Karlie Cree. The SLC U17 squad earned a hard-fought victory over Madrid 1-0. Ashley Thayer’s goal two minutes into the second half proved to be the deciding factor in the game. Kayla Irwin presided in goal earning a shut-out. Parishville Hopkinton U17 defeated Lisbon with Olivia Norman, Emily, Sloan, Rebecca Remington, Donna Colbert, Nicole, White and Brianna Hayes contributing to the PH offense.
