MORLEY LONG BRANCH FIRE OF SUSPICIOUS ORIGIN--St.Lawrence County Undersheriff Scott Bonno told 99 News Monday the fire May 9th that destroyed the bar-restaurant is now believed to have been set by suspicious means, and he is optimistic the case will come to closure soon. Until then, he says the investigation is 'very much open'.

DOHENY WRAPS UP AVAILABLE COUNTY GOP ENDORSEMENTS--23rd Congressional District candidate Matt Doheny received the nod from the Hamilton County Republican Party Thursday, giving him 9 out of 11 county GOP nods. Despite the marked advantage, primary opponent Doug Hoffman is not concerned, saying a vast majority of support he got last year was from registered Republicans, despite his running on the Conservative live.

RANSOM OUSTED FROM ST.REGIS MOHAWK CHIEF POST--Tribal voters on Saturday gave an unofficial tally of 502-179 for challenger Randy Hart over incumbent James Ransom. Results are expected to be certified later this week.
