OWENS EXPLAINS YES VOTE ON HEALTH CARE REFORM--Congressman Owens told reporters yesterday there is a massive amount of uncompensated health care expense in the US, hence the reform package is a step in the right direction.

NORFOLK YOUTH ALLEGEDLY SETS GRASS FIRE, DESTROYS BUILDING; ARRESTED--A 12-year-old boy was charged with felony fourth degree arson yesterday as a result of the fire on the Old Parishville Road.  The youth was petitioned to family court.

WOODSTOVE CHIMNEY FIRE DAMAGES HELENA GARAGE--Firefighters working quickly kept damage to a minimum at the property rented by tenant John Woodard and owned by Michelle Pierce on County Route 53 yesterday.  The call came in about 2:44pm; Helena firefighters and mutual aid were on the scene less than 2 hours.

CONVICTED SODOMIST WANTED IN TEXAS ARRESTED FOR FAILING TO REGISTER--45-year-old Level III offender Patrick Gilbo of Norwood, on the registry for life for sodomizing young boys in the late 1980's, was arrested on a fugitive warrant yesterday and held until extradition.  Gilbo's last address listed was 67 Park Street in Norwood.
