RECORD PRECIPITATION WEIGHS HEAVILY ON POWER LINES AND LIMBS--A total liquid equivalent of 1.39 inches fell yesterday, breaking the record of 1.27 inches set in 1970, according to certified military weather observer Rick O'Hanlon.
