99 NEWS HEADLINES FOR WEDNESDAY, 9/23/09 POTSDAM SCHOOL DISTRICT GETS CLEAN AUDIT--The Board of Education was told by its auditor undesignated fund balance slightly higher than suggested is not an issue, as it will be needed when Federal stimulus funds dry up, and when state teachers' pension fund payments go up. POTSDAM MAN FACES RAPE CHARGE--25-year-old Joshua Devine allegedly had relations with a 14-year-old girl in 2004, and allegedly provided her with cannabis. Devine was arraigned and jailed on 5-thousand dollars cash bail or 10-thousand dollars bail bond. ILLEGAL ALIENS CAUGHT IN CANTON--Three men with Chambersburg, Pennsylvania addresses were stopped in a vehicle early Monday morning. Sheriff's deputies found one of the men had a Mexican driver's license, and one had no ID. A GPS in the vehicle was allegedly set on a location in Lawrence.
