The resurfacing of Route 131, leading to Eisenhower Lock and other tourist attractions with chip-coat has proven unpopular, because of roughness and noise from tire friction CLARKSON HOCKEY RECRUITS ACCUSED OF SEXUAL MISCONDUCT WITH UNDERAGE GIRL--State Police recently arrested 18-year-old Jordan Ciccarello of New Hartford, CT and 18-year-old Patrick Mc.Eachen of Stoufville, ON on misdemeanor counts alleging they had illicit contact with a girl without her consent, on campus in July. The investigation is ongoing, the Watertown Daily Times says the University is cooperating. OGDENSBURG STABBING SUSPECT JAILED WITHOUT BAIL--29-year-old Albert Sherman, Jr. was arrested Saturday on a felony count of First Degree Assault over the weekend, alleging he stabbed 32-year-old Lawrence Grenier III of Ogdensburg in the parking lot of a convenuence store August 9th. Police say he was not labeled a suspect immediately after the incident, despite the fact a suspect SUV checked out to be his. no obituaries today
