RON'S AGRIDRAINAGE 15 KING COAT SEALING 13

 THEY END UP WINNING IT ALL KNOCKING OFF THE NUMBER ONE SEED EARLIER IN THE WEEK AND BEAT KING COAT IN A CLASSIC BATTLE.  TREY LAWRENCE SCORED THREE GOALS AND HAD TWO ASSISTS.  BLAKE BALDWIN HAD THREE GOALS AND ONE ASSIST, ZACH BALDWIN AND TANNER PHIPPEN HAD TWO GOALS AND ONE ASSIST EACH, AND HAYDEN BEAULIEU SAVED HIS BEST FOR LAST SCORING THE LAST TWO GOALS FOR RON'S, WHILE MARSHALL BURNINGHAUSEN NOTCHED A SINGLE TALLY.  IN THE LOSING EFFORT KYLE SHAMPINE SCORED THREE GOALS AND HAD TWO ASSISTS, TYLER KOWALCHUK SCORED FOUR TIMES, NATE MARSHALL CHIPPED IN TWO GOALS AND HAD AN ASSIST, CAMDEN DURANT ADDED A PAIR OF GOALS WHILE DAN FROHM SCORED A SINGLE TALLY

WENT IN TO SUDDEN DEATH OVERTIME AND JACK KEENAN FOR DOW'S GOT THE GAME WINNER.  KEENAN FINISHED WITH 5 GOALS AND THREE ASSISTS.  ALSO CONTRIBUTING WERE DYLAN PATTERSON WITH SEVEN GOALS AND ONE ASSIST, MARTIN FREGOE SCORED FOUR GOALS AND HAD ONE ASSIST, IAN LYNCH HAD THREE GOALS AND ONE ASSIST, KYLE COOK AND CODY COLLINS EACH CONTRIBUTED SINGLE GOALS.  IN THE LOSING EFFORT FOR B&W NATE COLE SCORED FIVE GOALS WHILE RYAN COLE SCORED SCORED FOUR GOALS AND ONE ASSIST.  CHARLIE DULLEA SCORED THREE GOALS, MIKE LAZORE FINISHED WITH A PAIR AND ZACH ARQUIETT SCORED A GOAL AND HAD AN ASSIST, AND KODY KOCSIS ANDJOBIE MCCARTHY HAD SINGLE TALLIES

ORANGE BASKETBALL NEWS: 

Kristof Ongenaet, who completed his collegiate basketball career at Syracuse University this past year, has signed to play professional basketball in Italy.

Ongeneat has signed a three-year year contract with Montegranaro, according to the team's website.

Ongenaet, a native of Belgium, transferred to Syracuse for the 2007-08 school year after spending two years at a junior college. He became a Carrier Dome fan-favorite for his hustle and spirited play with the Orange. He averaged 3.1 points and 4.8 rebounds per game as a senior at SU.

STILLMAN FOOTE RUNNING CLUB’S 2009 SUMMER SUNSET 5K SERIES CONCLUDES, 7:30 p.m. on the Stillman Foote cross-country course on the St. Lawrence University campus; plus one-mile fun run, 7:15 p.m.; registration 6:30 p.m. across Park Street from Augsbury Physical Education Center at SLU; fee $2 ($2 Canadian). PARISHVILLE FUN RUN/WALK SERIES, Parishville Park; free weekly races through Aug. 18, quarter-mile run for ages 5 and under, a half mile for ages 6 to 10, a mile run/walk for ages 11 to 14 and adults, and a three-mile run/walk for ages 15 and up; registration 5:15 p.m. at Parishville Park Pavilion; first kids' race starts 6 p.m. Participants in at least six out of 10 races receive t-shirt; everyone crossing the finish lines gets a popsicle; sponsored by St. Lawrence County Health Initiative's Eat Well Play Hard Community Project; info: Lisa Gray at 265-4060.
