The Clippers took advantage of some errors in advancing to the NYS final four at SUNY Potsdam versus Heuvelton.
The Bulldogs plated the first two runs of the game as Katie Nicholson led off the third with a walk and scored on a Heather Johnson double. Johnson came around to score on a booted ball at second to give Heuvelton a 2-0 lead. A missed force out at second by Heuvelton resulted in a big third inning for Germantown. A fielder's choice scored the first run of the game for the Clippers but then with two outs PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Courtney Parlman drilled a two run single to give the Clippers the lead at 3-2. A batter later Cameron Phillips helped her own cause with an RBI single to push the Germantown lead to 4-2.
The Clippers added four more in the fourth as Parlman connected again with a two run hit and Patty Cameron stroked an RBI double.
Heuvelton responded with three in the sixth to get it back to 8-5 as SUBWAY SUB OF THE GAME Kara Leonard led of the inning with a tripled and came around to score on a Casey Fobare infield hit. Sara Sloan scored on a double steal and Chelsea Bice sacrificed in a run to close the gap to three.
After a lead off single by Megan Johnson in the seventh the Bulldogs were retired one, two, three to end the game. For Germantown Courtney Parlman went 2 for 3 with 4RBIs and a run scored. Patty Cameron and Suzy Wright each score twice.
For the Bulldogs, Megan Johnson singled twice and Heather Johnson struck out seven iin scattering eight hits walking one.

A Golden Bear rally falls short in the seventh as Mechanicville drops Canton in he Class B Quarterfinals.
The Red Raiders were spotted two runs in the first as PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Anna Arceneaux doubled in a run and Shannon McBride singled in one as well for a 2-0 lead. Three more were tacked on in the third as Arceneaux drove in one ands McBride supplied two more runs in a three run inning.
Arceneaux did her part in the circle with 10 strikeouts including the last two in the seventh with the tying run at bat.
Cantom mounted a rally in the last inning as Mataya Locke advanced on a an error, Bobbi Jo Sanderson walked and Paige LaRue sacrificed over a runner to second and third as an error at second scored Locke from third. SUBWAY SUB OF THE GAME Natasha Bell ran out an infield single scoring Sanderson from third forcing the tying run at bat. Though Arceneaux finished off the game fanning two for her ninth and tenth of the game.
