Notice to the Campus Community
On the morning of Saturday, April 18, 2009, a female resident of
Knowles South reported to University Police that she was sexually
assaulted in her room. The identity of the alleged assailant is
unknown. The incident is reported to have occurred in the early
morning hours of Friday, April 17, 2009. Every effort is being made
by Counseling and Residence Life staff to support the student during
this difficult time.
University Police are actively investigating the assault and request
that anyone with information regarding the incident or suspicious
individuals in the vicinity of Knowles South on Thursday night into
Friday morning contact them immediately at x2222.
Your safety is our highest priority. Please be aware of your
surroundings at all times, walk with other people, lock the doors to
your residence, and be sure to close all outside doors behind you.
University Police are available around the clock to assist students
who are concerned about their immediate safety.
