POTSDAM STORM SNOWFALL SHORT OF RECORD, BUT CLOSE--Weather observer Rick O'Hanlon recorded 8 inches of snow yesterday at his station on Sisson Street.  The record was 8.3 inches in 1963.

MORRISTOWN RESIDENTS LOOK AT CONSOLIDATING SERVICES--Shared Services Committee Chair Chris Coffin says the dissolution of the Village of Morristown is just one of the ideas being looked at as a way of reducing layers of government and saving tax dollars.

LAWRENCE MAN CHARGED WITH FELONY WEAPON COUNT--State Police say 37-year-old Scott Hockenberry was allegedly involved in an incident involving a weapon; further details are forthcoming pending the outcome of the investigation.  Hockenberry was arraigned yesterday on a class D violent felony count of third degree criminal possession of a weapon and jailed on 10-thousand dollars cash bail or 20-thousand dollars bail bond.
